LED is one of our most common light sources. The LED lights used in projectors are customized high-power light sources, and the price is much higher than that of LED light sources for lighting. But even so, the cost of LED light sources is relatively low, much cheaper than laser projectors. In addition, three different colors of red, green and blue LED light sources can be used to construct a projection light source, and different colors can be presented through three-color mixed light, which can easily cover the sRGB color gamut. Therefore, many mainstream projectors currently use LED light sources.
In the early days, due to technical limitations, the brightness of LED light sources was not ideal. However, with the development of science and technology, the brightness of LED light sources has been able to meet the daily needs of users in recent years. The brightness of flagship phones basically exceeds the threshold of 2000 ANSI lumens, and the brightness of many projectors even exceeds 3000 ANSI lumens. Therefore, it is reasonable for LED light sources to become the mainstream.
